Before taking a trip from Da nang to Hoi an, I had experienced a wonderful night in Da nang. Widely known as the city of lights in Viet Nam, Da Nang is a dynamic place worth visiting not only in daylight but also in the evening.

When the sun sets down, if Hoi an is famous for the colorful lanterns, Da Nang city is lit up brilliantly by colorful lights of bridges, buildings and civil houses. The particular charm of the city ensures any visitor a very relaxing moment at night.

Thanks to many famous tourist attractions such as the collection of famous bridges ( Dragon Bridge, Tran Thi Ly Bridge, Thuan Phuoc Bridge, Han river Bridge..), Han River, beautiful sandy beaches, etc., Da Nang is becoming an ideal and an impressive destination for tourists who wish to experience the nightlife in one of the most popular cities of Viet Nam. Han River is considered a symbolic image of Da Nang. Arriving here,  you can witness the magic of light at night.

If you are visiting the city, you better be ready for the active and intense nightlife, as the city has so many things for you! The fun in Da Nang doesn’t stop when the sun goes down. Therefore, don’t expect to get a lot of sleep in Da Nang, instead have fun. Most of the bars, clubs, lounges, restaurants, music venues in Da nang are open till late night, and can give you a unique experience of local nightlife and make your trip even more memorable. So why not try them before continuing your trip from Da Nang to Hoi An.

If you feel like dancing, try the Camel Club on Ly Thuong Kiet and the New Phuong Dong discotheque on the Duong Da Street. There is one more small disco in town near the Han River, called Number One Disco. Things start happening at 20:00 and go on until late night. Joints for expats include, Cool Spot on 112 Tran Phu, Da Nang and Red Hot on 179 Nguyen Van Linh.

If you visit Da nang or Hoi An on the 29th and 30th of April, don’t miss The Da Nang International Fireworks Competition. It was held on April 29 and 30 beside the Han River to inspire and entertain local and visiting spectators with a combination of spectacular firework displays and musical interpretation. The participating teams from the USA, Russia, Japan, Italy and the host team from Da Nang – Viet Nam delivered a truly amazing show inspiring young and old people.

Another place that tourists coming to Da Nang should experience is Sun Wheel. Sun Wheel in Da Nang is the largest observation wheel in Vietnam and among the 10 highest wheels in the world. The observation wheel turns slow enough to see the city while it is moving. A complete turn takes about 15 minutes. The wheel will offer you a breathtaking and spectacular view of the illuminated and sparkling city at night.

Couples in love visiting Da Nang, should not forget to visit Da Nang Love Lock Bridge. On this bridge, they are able to show the undying love by putting love padlocks on a romantic bridge. Situated on the east of Tran Hung Dao street, the middle part between the Dragon bridge and Han river, the love lock bridge is a tourist attraction for young people in Da Nang.

After enjoying the nightlife in Da Nang, I continued my trip to Hoi An from Da Nang. Remembering what I experienced the night before, I felt my trip meaningful and memorable. Danang to Hoi An tour also brought me a lot of enjoyment and good feelings that I will share on another day.
